Noumea, also known as Numea, is the capital of the French-owned island of New Caledonia. Located in the south pacific, its latitude is around the same of that of Australia. The city has around 100,000 habitants, nearly all of which work in the tourist sector, with the nickel industry also giving the island important income. The city is incredibly cosmipolitan as you will find people of many different nationalities living there.

In the middle if the Pacific ocean, Noumea, the capital of New Caledonia, is a french city in the midst of Polynesia. A developed city, for its size it is also an incredibly industrialised city, mostly as a result of its commercial port.

Noumea is a city known among sports lovers around the world, as the ideal place to enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing, as its beaches offer incredible waves and healthy winds, as well as excellent facilities, sun and sand..... the perfect conditions to practice these sports.
